FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Our dumpsters are designed to handle most routine residential, commercial, and construction debris. Acceptable materials include household junk (furniture, clothing, toys, décor, general clutter), non-hazardous trash, cardboard, paper, and packaging materials. We also accept yard waste such as branches, leaves, brush, and small tree trimmings. Construction and remodeling debris—like lumber, drywall, siding, flooring, etc.. —is permitted as long as it’s non-hazardous and manageable in weight. Appliances without refrigerants, scrap metal, and non-hazardous renovation waste are also acceptable.

If you’re ever unsure about a specific item, we’re always happy to confirm before you load it—this keeps your project compliant and avoids unexpected fees.

We cannot accept liquid waste of any kind—including paint, oils, automotive or household fluids—along with paints, thinners, stains, automotive chemicals (such as motor oil or antifreeze), batteries, solvents, cleaners, pesticides, herbicides, fuels like gasoline or kerosene, pool chemicals, radioactive or mercury-containing materials (including fluorescent bulbs and thermometers), or asbestos. Additionally, certain construction materials such as concrete, bricks, and large demolition debris are restricted, and medical or biohazard waste—including syringes—is strictly prohibited.

HOCOMO Industries offers a variety of dumpster sizes to suit different needs, including 10-yard, 20-yard, 25-yard dumpsters. These dumpster options are great for small cleanouts or minor renovation projects.

The cost depends on the dumpster size, the duration of the rental, and the type of waste you’re disposing of. Our prices include delivery, pickup, and a set weight limit. Additional charges may apply if the dumpster is overloaded or if you require a longer rental period.
